They are one-day excursions that you can add to your itinerary or also do with the guidance of a tour guide to optimize your time.

Here are some of the most famous mountains for you to explore:

Top of Europe – Located in the region between Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and Wengen, Jungfraujoch is one of the places in Switzerland where you can see snow all year round. For over 100 years, the Jungfrau Railway has reached the highest railway station in Europe, at an altitude of 3,454 meters. The travel time to reach the top takes 2 hours and 10 minutes (by train via Grindelwald/Lauterbrunnen – Kleine Scheidegg) or 1 hour and 30 minutes (by cable car via Grindelwald – Eigergletscher).

Mount Titlis – Located in Engelberg in Central Switzerland, it has very quick access from Lucerne. With year-round snow, an incredible view, a suspension bridge, and the world’s first revolving cable car.

Klein Matterhorn – Located in Zermatt, at 3,883 meters above sea level, the highest cable car viewpoint in Europe also offers a fascinating panoramic view of the Matterhorn (4,478 meters) and the peaks of the Swiss, Italian, and French Alps.
